Thread: Help... can't get past the profile screen | Forums

I just finished installing SCPT on my PC for the 4th time and I still can't play it. My PC meets the requirements necessary to play. I can get up to the main menu then when I click start game after the profile screen it briefly goes to the loading screen then kicks me back to my desktop. I read somewhere (ubi.com) that if you use Nero or other devices to disable them, well I did 1 better, I uninstalled it completely. Can anyone please help me? Is it me or is the game defective?

What are your system specs? Do you have latest drivers? No CD emulation software like Acohol 120 or daemon tools? No virtual drives? Not using a laptop or onboard video card or MX400 series card? Not using Windows 64? Any of these can cause problems.

    P4 MSW XP sp2
    cpu 2.93 GHz
    502 MB RAM
    64MB video memory
Intel(R0 82915G express chipset family (Build 3847) Graphics card
    direct x 9.0c

PT config utility is all checked off with green check marks on all the minimum specs.

as for virtual drives, I'm not sure if I have one or not. How would I check? The only CD emulation software I knew of was Nero and I uninstalled that already. Is there another way of checking as I'm not overly familliar with emulation or virtual software.

Here's the problem! You need to buy a new vga! Absolutely min is geforce3 or ati8500

You probably have 2.53GHz cpu (not 2.93 heh)
i would advise you get at least a geforce6600gt (or if you have money a 6800gt)
