so i head into bestbuy about a half hour ago to pick up my assassins creed preorder and the greeter stops me and says that its a federal law that the game can not be released until 2 pm. obviously there isnt much i can do at this point but i am incredibly pissed. now i have to go back. can anyone shed any light on this? its already the 14th whats 3-4 hours going to do? nothing.

Have the greeter arrested, its officially for sale since midnight the 13th in the us...

if you arent in the us, have him arrested anyway for giving a too early date =)

You got lied to Apollo, personally I would talk to the manager and let them know that they wasted you time and you would be taking your business elsewhere. Companies have release dates on their games not release time. Since games ship out from one central warehouse the dates are set by the company to ensure the game is in a majority of stores.
