Interesting, but it doesnt seem that his studio goes behiond art development, so i wouldnt count on them making a full game anytime soon, still he has his own studio and seems like a cool guy, good read.

    thanks WK .

If you note, I did ask about starting a game. One thing to remember, is needing the money. Once he can get some capital up, he will start and as you can see, he may very well use some of the talented modders from the community. I can see harntrox or richmondskin or low profile working for JS to name but a few.

I haven't yet read the interview (I can't access GR.Net from work) but I, once, was very excited about a game Sonedecker was releasing after he split from RSE, and I later discovered (if memory serves correctly) that it was just another run-n-gunner (that didn't do so well). Now, I'm not hear to **** off on the guy, I'm just wondering what makes anyone think he's "realism" based?

Or is that covered in the interview?

He's a 2d/3d artist, he worked with a team on another game but concept and gameplay wasnt his call i guess, i really agree with him on a rebuilt GR with an up to date graphics engine and more advanced features, a.i., and realism too, hes a bit like us, he understands why games get dumbed down for the average joes but would like to see a "real" game for a change and agrees that there is enough market to justify slower paced/tactical games being made.
Its depressing to see so many bs fps games out there, feels like buying the same bad stuff over and over, i say its time for evolution .
