    Hi all,

I've owned a Spitfire propeller for some time. I recently sold it.

All of a sudden tonight my woman now confronts me. After an item on the news about Spitfires she tells me that I should never have sold it and how much she liked it.

She says it was beautiful and a work of magificance. She has never said this about me.

Would she have had this 'attitude' if I had sold a Hurricane propeller?

Is this an example of Spitfire Snobbery?

    Women...pah!!

    Best Regards,
    MB_Supermarine.
Where is Europe? Can it be seen from England? I hope not.

So apparently all she wanted you for was your propeller.

women often get possessive of things that aren't theirs.

Yes, buy another one. I somehow think she wouldn't be impressed though.

    Was it a money spinner?

Bad pun I'm sorry. I'll go now...

    Hi all,

When I owned the prop she showed no interest. When it had gone, she mourned.

    Is there a moral here?
