I rubbed the lower rightmost twist four times but nothing happens. This procedure worked in Haven. What is the "trick" to get it to work?

as far as i know there is no difference between what you have to do in haven and serinia. i didn't get it to work in haven at first either. you just have to do it carefully, holding the mouse button for the strokes and don't go over the line when you are bringing your hand back for the next stroke. also, don't stop at 4 - keep going until the game recognises 4 in a row.

Don't forget to release your mouse button between strokes either.

I'm having the same problem...worked in haven but can't get it in serenia. Thewebb, what do you mean when you say, "don't go over the line when you are bringing your hand over for the next stroke?" The black lines on the snake?
