Bryan Exanovite or something like that, had the BAR.
Yeah - because the character found the B.A.R. at the crashed glider. Paratroopers DID NOT jump with the B.A.R. in Normandy because they felt the weight was too much to jump and therefore were not officially given to paratroopers. Glider troops, however, did carry B.A.R.'s. Some paratroops, did get their hands on B.A.R.'s and had no problem jumping with them. Regardless, the B.A.R. was pretty rare amongst paratroopers unless (like the game shows) they found them or acquired them unofficially. By the time of Market-Garden, the B.A.R. was officially given to each rifle squad.

Paratroopers weighted about 70Kg without equipment. How the hell did the parachute suffered that ha?
What a 13Kg Rifle will change?
I bet there were heavier men at Airborne than 70Kg, so think about what ya sayin'.
its not so much the weight parachuting but more that as said the bar is a heavy gun, only 1 bar guy per rangers squad, bit like the british bren gun, only 1 man assigned to carry/shoot it,the rest carried ammo for it

That means you haven't seen the new trailer, there is both mg42/34's and 30/browning calibers.
So yes, i think they included the allied mg's
About jumping with the BAR. It was really a question of both weight and of length. It was about 4Ft (1.2m) in length and could not be broken down. If you landed the wrong way you could actually impale yourself. Weight is a very important factor and a reason why most Airborne units have a maximum weight requirement for active jumping personnel. An example is on this page http://www.101airborneww2.com/warstoriesintro.html
