H6 v1.0 : can't patch + UGL error code 2 | Forums

Hello,

I've installed the game in Hungarian language but I wasn't able to install the pre-downloaded (have no internet connection on my target computer) 1.1 patch because it says that the game is not installed. I've tried to uninstall then reinstall in English language but nothings changed, the 1.1 installer keep saying the game is not installed.

I've read in a H5 topic that there were unique patches for foreign languages is this case goes with H6 also? I found some 1.1 foreign versions like Russian and Polish here: http://www.gamepron.com/title/...es-VI/files/Patches/
is there a unique patch for hungarian also?

2nd question: Why it keeps saying "game is not installed" when I reinstalled in english anyway?

I dont have internet connection *anymore* on the target computer. So I had to download both patches separately and then tried to install the first one (the big one) but it keeps saying "Heroes VI is not installed".

The patch I downed is the 1.1 and I think this one is the first update release correct me if there is any pre patch.

What I found out meanwhile there are some other localized patches also included hungarian and more:

However I've already reinstalled the game to English but the 1.1 EFIG patch still does not recognize that the game is installed.

Ok, sucsessfully patched today. Needed to use the "digital" versions of patches not the normal.

However, I keep getting the "Error Code: 2" error on start.
I know this is something with the Ubi Game Launcher, tried many things posted here by community like
-deleting the win32/drivers/etc/hosts file;
-uninstalled and reinstalled the newly downloaded ubigamelauncher tool.
Nothings changed the error is still up. Any idea?

1) uninstall old launcher (just in case it is better to keep a copy of folder Data)
2) install new launcher (installer on a disk with game)
3) uninstall game
4) install game anew that it was synchronized with new launcher
5) start game
7) enter the key after updating
