Added a “hardcore mode” that will provide a new damage model where all weapons do much more damage to increase realism.
Just started a new Single Player game with v1.03 and I cannot see a difference so far. There is no "hardcore" listed in game-play level nor anywhere else.
Is the mode for Single Player?

Ok, but how to find hardcore-servers?
I can't see anything anywhere, not in filters, nore in server-browser (both ranked and unranked).
The only option I see so far, is to write down some server-ID's that are posted on this forum.
Kinda last century, if u ask me.
Most servers run HC mode now. I didn't like it myself at start, but now the "oldschool" mode feels just slow and boring.
k, thx...yeah that's why I want to find those servers. No enemy-icons makes all the difference
Go to ranked match, find any of our servers (Waikiki Gun Club) They're named "wgc #1" to "wgc #3". We run HC mode on all 3 constantly, mostly DM And TDM with some CTD and uprising occasionally.
UNS also runs HC mode on at least one server at all times (my personal fav) but since I had requests not to run it I dont on all the servers. Whichever one is hardcore has HC in the server name. Most of the other servers that run hardcore put it in the server name as well, but I dont know of and besides wgc and mine off hand. Both of us have good setups to minimize waitng, though they differ a bit. Both are also admined well, though I will say wgc run a tighter ship than I can right now. I do zap peeps with the pbweb tho
Unfortunately they didn't think to tell you in the server lobby which ones are running HC mode or not....but once you are in the server, you can tell by seeing this symbol:
