    Thank you very much!
I guess there were "a couple" of people waiting for this.

Finally, the community can breathe a collective sigh of relief.
These specs are lower than most were expecting.

    This we'll defend

Hehehe, who would have thought that 'you will need a Cray computer to run this thing with all the bells and whistles on, it will kill your computer blah blah blah' etc drivel would turn out to be uninformed, speculative hogwash.

    Surprise surprise.

Bought a GTX 580 a fortnight ago, and with 6gb of 1600 ram and a corei7 940 I'll be ok. Most people will. Hilarious how it turns out that those who think they are 'in the know' actually know SFA, lol. Again, no surprises there. Much ado about nothing.

    Cheers Ms Kleaneasy.

    not to start with.

to quote Luthier from over at 1c,

Obviously Oleg was absolutely correct discussing various game features at the time he discussed them. DX11 however was somewhat buggy when we worked with it last, we ran into issues, and we still haven't sold them. So DX11 support was being worked on, but it's not one of the things that was complete and then turned off. It needs some time, and since it does actually offer a lot of advantages, it's definitely higher up on the list of priorities.
