Yeah, the search can at times be flakey at best. I don't think coop will be in the game at release. They said it could be added using a "far cry" solution. Basically it means the game can have coop but they will most likely let a modder add it in instead of adding it in themselves.

No, I read in a interveiw article somewheres that Multiplayer is going to be coop. Like eich guys gets half a squad or something.

Depends on how you define Coop. If you mean all human players vs AI then no. There is no Coop. If you mean human with AI team vs human with AI team. Then yes.

The MP side as I understand it is as follows.

There can be up to 4 players. Each player will get to control at least 1 squad of AI team mates against the other human players. You will fight the other human players with your squad of AI team mates. Each side has an objective to complete. So it's basically a 2v2 of human players with each human controling 1 squad of AI team mates

To add to what Indylavi just said, I believe there you will be having up to 2 squads, if there is 2 human players, if there are 4 players, you will get 1 squad, I think that's right.

hmmm....if the AI is as good as it looks...then i think haveing a Coop Humans vs. Computer would be very smart for the devs....theres no greater feeling then being pinned down and trying to manivater and evade enemy attacks...
