It's nice to see that Ubi implemented a speed indicator. Silent drops are an excellent addition. It's also nice to see that the people who wanted mouse scroll for speed got what they wanted. I'm also very happy that they've orgasnized the friends list. The spelling fixes are a nice addition that make it look much cleaner. Very nice changes overall.![]()

You guys have our thanks for listening in so closely to what we had to say...you'll see that in the long run this will work best not only for us but for you(ubi) as well as less people will have stuff to complain about. This patch is indeed what the game needed. The wheel/speed change was one of the most important changes imho(now I can snipe incredibly fast having the zoom on MMB). Also all the other corrections where of course really critical.
Now only a few little things to left to fix and we shall have ourselves the masterpiece of a multiplayer game that this is destined to be:
1) Falling shells can be heard everywhere on the map! (guys?this can't be so hard to fix now, right?)
2) The apostrophe button doesn't invoke the console in game (halleluuja!) but it still does in the lobby! (Argh! annoying! just bind it with the tilde(~) key and let it me done with!)
3) Split jump! It's still not working!!! (people this is the signature move of Splinter Cell since the name Sam Fisher was first thought of! You gotta have this work!)
4) Mercs can shoot their weapons while being thrown of balconies resulting in the death of the spy as well as the merc. (We've mentioned this one quite some times but I guess it's not that easy to spot every bug worth dealing with in this sea of voices)
5) I'm not sure if the texts in the equipment descriptions have been corrected but if I had to guess I'd say they haven't cause last time I read them (before the patch) they seemed like they were written by someone whose native language wasn't English, and now that I read them again they still give the same impression. Have them looked at...not a big deal I'm sure...they kinda spoil the game's image the way they are now.
That's it for now...I'm sure my fellow messageboard posters will dig out more but I believe these 5 points (at least the first 4) are bugs that should definately be dealt with before the final version hits the shelves.
EDIT: I just saw Rhoullete's message. I'll just copy paste these comments on the official bug report thread then. (@Moderator)If the duplicate post is an inconvinience feel free to erase this one.
Couple of things...
quote:
Originally posted by SHARPSHARK:

Edit: Oops, I guess cooldude6681 was faster! <=)

Well, your answer is more complete/accurate. But hey, I beat an Ubisoft dev (?) to the punch--I'm giddy with glee and, like Amn-23, easily amused
Thanks for the patch--I love everything but the increased shotgun powernow everyone (almost) is going to be using the shotgun because it's so easy to kill spies. but I guess I shouldn't complain and just be happy with what Ubisoft gives us. Thanks again.
Yeah, I accedently osted this in the CT forum. I like it because now I have a working Camo Suit! One thing though, what button do you press to chat in-game? I tried almost every button and I can't talk at all. Makes it hard to be a team.
