Hey, I just downloaded the farcry demo and it's running at about 7fps on average. I'm using a GF4 TI46000 (64MB) and I have a 1,8GH proccesor and 512MB RAM. The game is using the default settings, which is everything on medium and the resolution @ 1024x768. I really don't think it should be running this slowly! Also I just reformatted my computer yesterday, so it's basically clean! So it should definitely not be running this slow!
(And no, I didn't forget to install drivers)

If you guys haven't read this trick yet, make sure to start a new game, hit escape and change resolutions. The res switch makes the game run 3-6 times faster in some cases.
Note that you have to switch res's AFTER you start a new game and are paused in the menu.

Weird, but it seemed to work. I was able to get about 50fps on average with everything on low @ 1024x768, which is acceptable, but not great at all. Awsome game, tho! =)
