I've also updated my IL-2 profile utilising some of the new commands such as the mouse manipulation commands so now when I press my map button the mouse pointer moves to the map window so i can use another button on my stick which has the right mouse button mapped to it to allow me to zoom in and out, when I close the map the mouse pointer is automatically moved out of sight to the bottom of the screen.

I've also incorporated my Pro Throttle and Flight Sim Yoke into the profile which previously only had the Fighterstick, Throttle Quadrant and Pro Pedals used. The Pro Throttle acts as the bombardier control unit while the Yoke or Fighterstick can be used as the main control device at the press of a button. By using a little .cms script you can transfer the X and Y axis from the Fighterstick to the Yoke and back to the Fighterstick on the fly if you need to without having to remap anything in IL-2's config. Handy if like me you fly a mix of fighters and bombers online. You can download my profile here.

Wow, that alone is a good reason to switch to the ch products. I love my x52 but that sounds tempting lol.

Hunter> Win64 drivers are coming very soon, they are being worked on as we speak

Urufu_Shinjiro> I find it very useful as I can just load up the profile and play, switch between bombers or fighters and use my yoke or Fighterstick without having to exit the game to load another profile or go into the IL-2 optiosn and re-map anything. All I need to do is press a button on my Pro Throttle and the switch is instantaneous.

    Thanks Revvin

That stick switching sounds really neat, shame CH don't do FFB otherwise I'd be tempted to add a CH stick to my Pro throttle and pedals.

Now to get my head around the programming, is there a good source of notated examples aside from that in the help file?
    Or an on-line tutorial?

Just tried V4.0 and it causes a CPU thrash @ 98%

I'll nip over to the CH Hangar and see what I did wrong!

Ok I goofed on the install, working fine now.

When you install make sure you also remove the CH Utility from 3.xx too, must leave some conflicts laying around.

    Doh!

Seems to have slipped through the last BETA, Bob Church has posted a simple fix for the time being

"start the Control Manager GUI and get to the CM Editor screen. Click the "Options" button and uncheck the box that says "Def Highlighting". Then click the "Apply" button and close the Options Dialog. See if that clears it up for you."

Removal of all things CH and then re-installing V4 solved it Revvin

So didn't get a chance to try Bobs fix, perhaps something to add for future releases.

And I now know how to assign key presses to axis too thanks to the guide Here

Finally got to 'lean' in CoD with the toe brakes
