I thought I would throw this one out there.

I think there is a problem with the awarding of medals at the end of patrols. It seems FDU Far East deems it appropriate to award me the Ritterkreuz before receiving the Iron Cross 2nd and 1st class. Not only did I get the Knights Cross, but I got it with oak leaves too! Far be it for me to argue with the bosses but I think there must be some sort of progression as regards real life and the precedent set in SHIII. Is this related to the way awards are awrded in SH4 proper? With SH4 proper all I ever got was the MOH, I know I had fairly reasonable patrols, but surely not a MOH after every patrol?

I don't want to sound ungrateful but surely there has to be some sort of progression with the awarding of medals especially from the German point of view?

Has anyone else experienced the same issue as me?

Yup, I got the Knights Cross at the end of my third patrol. The only medal available for my crew was the Iron Cross second class. Two of them.

Maybe it was my 80k tons+. Or the fact that I met all of the objectives with a severely damaged hull.
Or maybe they were surprised that we survived.
