When a team member gets hurt, does the effect last for the entire game(level to level), and if so, is there any way to either counter act the effects or heal them?

What are you referring to, GR 1?
If so that depends on if youâ're playing SP or MP. MP does not have any form of rejuvenation, eg. health packs
SP they will heal if taken out of action for a while.
If youâ're asking about GR 2 then we can only hope the Ghost arenâ't band-aid equipped.

To TheGreatHobo,
Welcome to the game and forums.
To add to what JP has given to you all you have to do is leave them out one mission and they will have recovered to 100% for the next mission.
