Can admins do something about cheaters who enter hacked savegame into the darkroom???
we all know it's impossible the get all the pearl/photos within an hour!!!

it makes me so sad that some people have so few respect for a such beautiful game!...

I believe there are more than 1 hour and 10 minutes worth of cutscenes in the game to begin with. I can only imagine they are playing a ripped version of the game that doesn't have the cutscenes. If someone was going to edit their score why didn't they put 1 minute instead of 1 hour and 10 minutes? I mean, one is just as believable as the other, isn't it? And why didn't they add a Yo Pearl score?

I dunno, but either way...I don't believe 1 hour and 10 minutes is a legitimate time. I say Vardis' time of 3 hours and 16 minutes is still the #1 score.

Yeah, I know 1h10m isn't possible. [img]/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif[/img] I'm skeptical of the 2h45min time since to get 3h16m required not doing and side trips, running past combat that wasn't necessary, not viewing any Mdiscs I didn't have to, etc. I could see shaving a few minutes to get near 3h, but 1/2 an hour is a lot, and the 1h10m time is just silly. Ok, I came up with a fairly unbeatable score code. Watch the boards and see if you can guess who I am.

Don't worry...I'll change the score later but I'd like to leave it up long enough to make a point.

Now, having said all this I sure hope it takes my code!

I just poped in to comment on that. That's pretty impressive! o.O

It's at least impressive that one pick apart and reconstruct the codes. I tinkered with my XBox save games at one point, which promptly stopped working... I just wanted more boost capsules! :P UBI has some degree of protection inside the saves. I would guess the Internet Code is a checksum of some kind.

Are people just plugging numbers in to see what works? :P I assume there is some logic to the codes that is known at this point... plug and chug just seems a little too amazing to come up with that.

*shrugs* I'm pretty happy with my 4:30 time. I don't have the patients to beat that pearl game in order to climb the ladder any higher. -_-
