Pacific Fighters is 2 CDroms to install, Firts Disk 1 and about halfway trough you are prompted to insert Disk 2, than wen its almost done installing it asks for Disk 1 again to finish.
But like FoolTrottel said, Get Il-2 1946, its FB + PF + ACE + PE2 + Wings over Manchuria and 1946 all rolled in one Install on a DVD.
So for the price of one game you get the whole series of updates and add ons all in one.
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+ Black Edition, Foxconn nForce 590 SLI, 4x OCZ 2048MB EPP DDR2-800, 2x Club3D GeForce 8800GT 512MB, Be-Quiet 700 Watt Straight Power, Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
Thanks for the reply. I have installed it both CD's. The issue was when I start the game, it cannot find the CD.
As for purchasing 1946, would love to. Just seems there are many issues with Vista 64 bit on loading. Is it a non-issue if you purchase the DVD? How about the download on-line?
Thanks again, PF+FB+AEP still not starting.

The issues with Vista x64 seem to be caused by Securom. The US retail version does not have Securom. Only the EU/ Austalia/Asian versions have Securom.
I would not go the download way.
Did you install everything in the right order?
FB - AEP - PF - check if it works with the other CD in the driveIf you want the combined game you need to do the merged install with PF.

This is a known issue which began approximatlely 2 months after PFs release. A few days after Klatu2003 posted the solution in the "Users Fixes" thread, http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/49310655/m/314...521062052#1521062052 , Ubisoft put the file for download at the Solution Center.

If you follow the instructions, your merged install should work as intended.
Wow,
I haven't seen WomenFly for years. Nice to see you are still flying.![]()
If IL2-1946 does giver isues with instaling/running there really easy to fix.
For installing you just explore the CD and you see a.exe file, if you click that it installs fine.
If the game doesnt want to run after installing just give a shout on here and im sure someone will give you the solution for that wich we cant publicly post here for piracy reasons.
Got a Vista 64bit SLI rig where i run IL-2 1946 on and it runs perfectly here.
