    Thank you Sorceresss and others...

I want to give a huge thanks to one of the best forum monitor's in any online community!

For those folks that have the extra time and commitment to hammering out the bugs, tech issues, and generally are trying to make the game a more enjoyable experience... I also Thank You!

I have been quite critical of H6 since release... that I wanted to try to shine some light on something positive.

    To the Sorceresss,

Thank you for volunteering for our community. I know its not easy and can be a very frustrating labor of love.
I have been more of a player than a forum rat until this release... and have observed you caring for our community for a long time.

Its due time that you are recognized for your time and service.
We are very lucky to have someone that is a attentive, engaging, and when needed... just as stern.

    Personally, I Thank You,

    Arthur

To the rest of the patient folks,

Now, to the those folks in the community that take the precious time to come to this site and help those folks in need...Thank You!
I am rather selfish when it comes to computer games... if its working I am playing. Rarely will I go back to the forums and help those that need guidance. Im rather hard core when it comes to helping those that just need to explore, read, or play longer... but, even if I am having a good ol' time... others may not be experiencing the same level of fun or cant even play.

This is to those folks that take the time out of their day and give a helping hand to those of a lesser fortune.

Now we have a situation where H6 is literally inundated with bugs/tech issues... it takes a special person to really help some one through these tough issues while trying to stay positive in the face of a daunting number of issues.

You know who you are... and I thank you as do most of the community.

note: Please keep this thread as positive as possible. If you dont agree, that is fine, just please dont post any negative views in this thread. There are plenty of negative threads on this forum to vent your frustrations, bugs, and tech issues. Thank you.

I edited your thread title to remove my nickname from it. I appreciated the gesture, but it was a little too much for me. The new title is more impersonal & inclusive.

"One of the best forum [moderators] in any online community!" That, also, is over the top, but I appreciate the intent behind the hyperbole.

Beyond my own situation, people should know that all Moderators, on all the numerous Ubisoft forums, are first & foremost gamers, fans who volunteered to do unpaid Moderation work.

If threads or posts are edited, moved, closed, or removed, please be aware that it is done with the intent of having a "cleaner" forum.

No censorship is in effect : Moderators are not paid by Ubisoft, and they have never received "orders" to defend Ubisoft. Very negative posts are only edited or removed if they cross certain boundaries.

    Apologies Sorc,

My nickname is Hyperbole Hank. I have an over active imagination. A wonderful flaw of mine.

I have been around a long time, and even though it may be a bit over the top, in my experience, you are one of the best.

Be that as it may, your time is appreciated.

All I can say is I have seen far worse moderators out there who take things a bit too seriously, so it is nice to see someone that puts a good effort in, while trying to remain neutral.

I personally only know two more than the rest, Mr_Shade on the Assassin's Creed area and Sorceresss...the rest I've had very little contact with, so I can only really speak for these two.

And they're two which I feel are both helpful and dedicated, for some who aren't really paid to do what they do...often dealing with things they shouldn't even have to, simply to do us a favour...and in some cases enter conflict that can cause them grief.

So I will offer my thanks as well, it's not your job...but you do it, and you do your best in the role...so you are deserving of respect and a warm thanks for your service, regardless of your reasons.

Perhaps one day our paths will cross in-game somewhere...it would be nice to go against or work with people who simply do what they do to enjoy it, even with the flaws and problems.

    Did I hear my name...?

Just want to join in thanking the team of moderators - who deal with your community on a daily basis - they do a heck of a lot of work, for very little reward - other than knowing they are helping make the community a better place for you all

As you may know - at present the Forum Team is in a state of Flux - we are waiting to replace Ms-Kleaneasy, so we remaining FM's are spread a little thin, however this is were the Moderators come in, making sure things remain stable.

I know sometimes it feels like no one higher up the chain is noticing things going on, but they are.

I also know there are some concerns about bugs and other problems with the game - and just want you guys to know that the team working on the game are aware of these - and have not stopped working behind the scenes.

All of the feedback given on here - is valuable - and remember even if you don't get a direct reply for every post - they all count!

    right..

I better toddle back into the shadows..

But in all honesty - as with the Moderation team, if we can ever help - feel free to contact the Forum Managers directly.

    I agree wholeheartedly

And also extra thanks to Sorceresss on top of that for making me aware of this thread and for Mr-Shade for posting here

I would suggest you look over at the community tech help forum. By the way its named and the nature of user's issues being pretty much always technical (at least in their minds) many people who need help with HOMM6 are ending up there. And getting ignored and sad and thinking that there is not support at all for this game.
