I would be great if someone made a Band of Brothers mod, with all the soldiers we saw in it and the music etc.I hope Gearbox releases the sdk so people can make mods like this

there is already a mod like this under development, but dont get your hopes up since there will be gigantic copyright issues.

I wish some company could buy the rights and make an official BoB game

The idea though is not to call it a band of brothers mod, call it ring of siblings or somthing, I dunno, but base it heavilly on the series (like character personalities, locations, events etc) without copying any of the actual names. That's usually the best way of dodging copyright issues, however on record I never said it

I knew Steven Ambrose and asked him about a BoB game. As his personality met him his reply was "Hell no!" He explained that it was morally apposing and that the veterans would not appreciate. How would you like to see your buddy virtually blown up again and steal all the glory from them by taking Foy or Carentan. My point is that it is not a good idea.

If you have ever played Call of Duty , you will know that the attack of Foy is in it , don't know about Carentan though. It's exactly like the movie BoB from the same angle even

CoD is more like BoB than BiA is by a long shot


oh and Carentan is in CoD......and dont forget Brecourt (trenches)

The attack on Foy is in the United Offensive expantion.
Vanilla CoD was the airborne liberation of St Mere Eglise then onto Brecourt.
Carentan is just a multiplayer map and doesn't feature in the single player campaign.
