I like gaming in SP one thing I DON'T like. Is not being able to save.It gets old very fast to have to kill the same guys over and over. Get to the objective and get waxed. Then go back and do it again. You know if your health is RED one more shot and your dead..then as we know BACK to the point of the game's last save. GRIN must change that. It a pain to have to go back. What is your opinion on this?
I did not have a problem with the save points. It gave me an extra push to make sure i took my time to get to each checkpoint, and when I did, I felt like I accomplished something.
When I did die, I was very upset, but at myself not the game. If I had just checked the SaT Map one more time before I rounded the corner, I would have known to watch for the machine gun nest. So It was my my fault.
Overall - I love the way they did this.
i agree with either a quicksave ala GR1 or more savepoints, as this game blows for savepoints with its braindead AI
I prefer it with a quicksave, normal saves and also automatic checkpoint saves. Solves a lot of problems/frustration/anger/computer's life.
But as I go along playing this, I'm beginning to see more and more things that must be improved as an FPS.

I have an Xbox 360... if I wanted to play GRAW on that I would have bought it for that!
Argh. GRAW PC just <span class="ev_code_RED">*edit*</span>me off more and more. I uninstalled it, then felt like I hadn't given it enough of a chance. Re-installed it, started to play again and BAM, I'm re-doing the maps over and over because of the idiotic save-points...

Well Im guessing he doesnt know that, he was just assuming based on other consol games and how they save compaired to how generally PC game saves work.

Well with respect i would suggest he doesnt know his console games as much as he thinks, CoD doesnt have them either, neither does Far Cry, in fact i havnt come across many that do, perhaps its the type of games i play who knows but i do think to many band easy/ idiot proof and console together, contrary to what some think they dont come hand in hand
LONG WAY BETWEEN AUTO SAVES IN GRAW AND OTHER GAMES...BY THE WAY I CAN'T PLAY THE XBOX ONLY ONE HAND THAT WORKS...AND FAR CRY NEVER PLAYED IT....
there were save points in ogr? shows you how much sp i played...
i did do the campaigns once but never used quick saves.
