Hey I am wanting to start playing farcry 2 again and when I attempt to re-create my ubi online profile and enter my cd key (correctly) it then tells me that the farcry 2 servers are currently unavailable although my friend is still able to login and play?

    I tried that.

The ask a question page is offline, I tried calling the US phone number and the directed me to the forums.

This is becoming rather frustrating because I'm still having the issue and my friend can play it just fine.

edit: never mind, the page is working again.

Hopefully I can get this working :\

Yeah, the Far Cry 2 master server was down for most of the day.

I did some research and found out that if you want to play the best thing to do is to install Tunngle (a tool that simulates being in a LAN with people over the internet), join one of the Far Cry 2 networks (use "Network Search"), create an offline profile in Far Cry 2 and then use the LAN game search instead.

    It worked for me.

    P.S.

So far I like Tunggle a lot more than Hamachi because it allows you to easily find networks and also supports up to 255 people in a network.
