I know assault play isn't really what SC is about, (see the concession from an SCC fan?), but I do really enjoy how Conviction did it. It's honestly a better shooter in a lot of ways than the 'specializing' shooters out there.

I agree with it being a better shooter than just about every other shooter but the main problem I have with Conviction is the shot grouping. The Player's shot grouping is terrible. If you did not know any better you would think the player(Sam or co-op character) was a complete Amateur rather than a professional marksman. The player should shoot like the guys on Top Shot and not like a storm trooper.

Speaking of an assault class. Couldn't there be different type of enemies. Not only just a standard mercenary. And these playable units won't be on the Same map together. So only 1 type of mercenary per game mode/map.
    For example:

-there can be a standard thug unit that's fast and agile, but light armored and uses ambush tech.

-Or a rainbow six looking swat enemy, that's also quite fast but purposeful with a good arsenal of weapons,

-or a tank type unit that is almost impossible to kill, so you have to avoid him If you're a spy.

    - or even there could be full player customization, so depending how much armor you gave the merc, that would effect his speed.

Let me know what you think. Ps. As mentioned before, there wouldnt be 2 different types of enemies on the same map just so that simplicity is maintained.

Guys, in just about an hour I am going to hopefully post a screenshot for something that may prove ubi has listened to us. Or at least about Meggido....you'll have to see. Let your mind ponder all of the possibilities....

Alas, no picture but hopefully I've earned enough credit for you to take my word. I was playing Ghost Recon Online beta yesterday and apparently there's this missions (that expire like in six hours, why i have no pic...) Anyway the mission summary said something along the lines of: "We are outnumbered. Form a squad and take out as many Meggido operatives as you can." Again, something like that, but they mentioned, SPECIFICALLY, MEGIDDO OPERATIVES! Maybe they won't just be some sort of little threat we see in only SC6? Maybe they'll be a big group that needs to be dealt with? Maybe, just maybe, Tom Clancy's Crossplay feature could be a reality? Okay, now i'm just getting ahead of myself, but I do think this warrants a bit of discussion don't you? Thoughts?

I wouldn't be suprised at all if crossplay is ready to go now. Look at Creed, Ubi's prior questions to fans basically covered a bunch of stuff they had already moved on, the American Revolution as a setting for example.
So, yeah, I bet we see it....cool.

How do I get in on the Beta by the way, I still have SCC.....of course, cuz it's only one of my besties ever.

Now the question is simply is Meggido going to be an all encompassing name for the bad guys or is it actually going to be Meggido? And if it really is Meggido will we see some sort of tie in between various franchises?

I like your ideas for SC6. As for Meggido.... Ubi can pretty much do anything they want with them, I could care less.

I have an idea how social stealth could be implemented. You have 2 bars one is the exposure bar the other is the suspicion bar.
The exposure bar shows how exposed Sam is in a public area (like standing out in a crowd, walking in a restricted area, or just standing out in general). The suspicion bar shows how suspicious the guards are. The exposure bar affects how fast/slow the suspicion bar goes up. Other things affect the suspicion bar like not wear the right uniform, acting like a creeper in front of people/guards, and walking into places you shouldn't be in.
