I've been using the Platinum and Gold Cardo boxing session quite a bit, and I really like the workouts!!! I do have a couple things I've noticed about the Platinum Cardio Boxing full 14-minute session, however. (Spectra...please report these to the developers. I think the Platinum was DLC, so I would hope they could just patch this!)

    1. One of the first exercises in the Platinum Cardio Boxing is a Punch/Squat Combo where you cross punch to the side, squat, repeat punch on the other side, squat, two hook punches, and then two upper cut punches. The thing I'm noticing is that even before I begin to do the squat portion of the routine, Kinect is recognizing that I'm beginning to do my squat...when I haven't even moved yet. This happens all the time for this particular exercise.

    2. Many times when I am doing this routine, if I start doing a squat or punch even a split second before the trainer on the screen does the same thing, it will not recognize that I've completed it (no green filled-in circle on the screen). It's almost always if I am exactly in snyc or just a fraction of a second behind the trainer that it will count twoards my goal (if you will).

    3. There is a point about mid-way through the full Platinum Cardio Boxing routine where I get to about 4 or 5 repetitions left in the exercise, and the female voice says, "Last one". This is incorrect...as I have 3 or 4 more repetitions to go.

I absolutely love YSFE, and I can deal with the glitches I've experienced...but I just wanted to be sure that Ubi saw this. Thank you, in advance, for looking into this issue further.

I love YS too but your number 1 issue is true and pretty ridiculous! I am purposely NOT squatting because if I do, it does not register as correct! To me the good FAR outweighs the bad for YS and hopefully the devs will iron this stuff out. I still wonder how much testing they did for this game and what sort of people they used for testing.

To add to my OP, I am also noticing that that trainer on-screen is getting out of sync with the music even on the Silver (full class) Cardio Boxing workouts. At the start, punches are on the beat...but then after a while, they are getting off-beat...which totally messes with my head.

Ubi (Spectra/Gypsy): Please look into these delays. Although I love this game, little errors like this are what keep it good when it could be great!

One thing i noticed, is, that i have to be careful that i turn my body around when i have to kick. It registered my knee, but i have to be face 100% front for it to register the kick.

Thank you, Gypsy! I would like to add some more information that I have observed. Today while doing my workout, I was using the Silver (full class) Cardio Boxing workout. The first couple of routines start off with forward punches. (The trainer starts out the first few at a slow pace so you learn what to do.) If you look real close, as the trainer on screen is throwing the first punch, a few frames of the animation are missing. This happens every single time as soon as the first forward/front punch is executed. (It continues to happen once the punches are in double-time.) So, in my opinion, the missing frames in the trainer's arms while throwing the first punch are the culprit in why the on-screen animation does not consistently sync to the beat of the music.

Again, I thank you for your help and reporting of this issue!!!

I noticed this problem too. It appears like he slightly hesitates on the first rep of each set. Then reps 2 thru 4 seem fine.

I've only just downloaded the Platinum Cardio Boxing classes and so I'm having a look at this thread.

I'm not experiencing any difficulty with the Sumo Combo. But I have had the issue of getting ahead of the trainer a bit on other Cardio Boxing routines, and having the move not register as being completed (no green circle). I have had to consciously slow myself down. I am actually seeing this in the Kick Lunge Combo on slow, especially when I lunge/punch on the right side. Once I slowed my lunge a bit the problem went away. It has not occurred during the fast routines for me.

One other small glitch in animation I've noticed with the Platinum Cardio is on the Kick / Lunge combo (the second exercise routine) during the full program. When you're on the "slow" runthrough of it, on the very last rep, the trainer speeds up for the last lunge and goes immediately into the side step. It's a very fast hurry up that doesn't match the cadence that had been set throughout the rest of that exercise set.

    Otherwise, love the platinum.

    Gypsy and/or Spectra...

I know you have said this has been reported on, but I wanted to also create a visual for you. So, I recorded myself doing a "Cario Boxing: Platinum" workout so you and the Ubi developers could see exactly what I am referring to. I hope this is of help to all of you!!!
