Thread: Is Spy versus Merc now completely dead? | Forums

  1. #1
I kind of liked Double Agents SVM but it was lacking total planning and offense for the spies.

I would prefer if Spies were in fact toned down, but I liked the trap-laying confined gameplay of Pandora Tomorrow and CT's multiplayer.

Or is this concept just completely stricken from the books? I hope not really, even if DA's multiplayer didn't take hold CT's and PT's were a big hit therefore shouldn't be forgotten.

?? No discussion of the multiplayer is allowed now ?? that's pretty odd.

No discussion of a certain mod is allowed.

Not SvM, but, then again, there will probably be no more SvM from Ubi anyways.

Ah that's what I was getting at.. killing the whole SvM angle because of SCDA's revamped SvM ideas is a big mistake.

I think people trying to get together to build a new mod for it is proof that its still a gamestyle people want.

That and the million topics about bringing the old SvM back, but hey, Ubi's loss. And it WILL be their loss.

I don't think that CT is dead. In fact, I hopped online and played some matches with people. I think that CT's multiplayer happens to have better feel that DA's, but DA still has it's own uniqueness.
