I think either of them will run IL-2 - but it's worth noting that ATI driver support for AGP cards has ended.

This may not be a problem if you are using Windows XP - but may be if you are using Vista.

I'd go for the DDR3 one. Faster RAM=better.

I'm not certain a DDR2 card will have enough power for IL-2.

Important criteria in order of omportance:
-1- Slot (PCIe/AGP etc) - not much to choose as it depends on your system.

-2- Memory bus width (more bits = better) - You'll want 128 bits or more.

    -3- RAM type (later=faster=better)

Anything with 256MB RAM or moreshould be ok.
RAM amount is not realy a criterium if it's over 128MB.

Of the two cards the HD3650 is definitely the better one. Keep in mind this card has an extra power connector (6-pin PCIe power) that you need to connect. A molex to PCIe power converter will probably be included. It will most likely need a 400+ Watt power supply.

Like the others have said, the 3650 would be the better card.

However with it being AGP there are potential issues, as the later ATI drivers have been know to not play nice with AGP.

If you run into issues, your best bet is this forum: http://www.driverheaven.net/forum.php?s=

There are sections for ATI CARDS, and ATI Drivers. There is good info there on AGP issues, and a lot of folks (including ATI employees)that can help you out if you need it.
