I am coming to the conclusion that 'side fans' are a negative even when blowing onto a roasting hot graphics card...The 'old' idea of in at the bottom front and out at the top rear seems to be best .I run an Antec 900 and the big 'roof' top rear fan seems to work a treat .Id highly recommend this case but its not huge .Latest mega graphics cards have to be shoe horned in ...With the 4870X2 -although mine seemed to have a non standard 'extension' at rear- I had to remove some hard drive caddies/shelves to get it in ...
Oh yeah run a mile from 80mm fans 120mm are way better ...More may be less with fans- 6 or 8 may cool worse than 3 or 4...Core2duo cpus are icy cold anyway unless highly overclocked...
So cover up any 'holes'/mesh on the case side AND the front top (this made a big difference) and check those temps!
