Hi again,
I made it to the 2nd level, the blue plants down the bottom, and lost my saved game.
I've started again, freed the squee, inflated the squid, but cannot escape from this place.
I'm starting to wonder if its XP, but I did it once . Help pleeeese.!!

You have to do more than free the squee. You have to chase him away.

You need to save more and with different names so you don't have to start over.

In the red book, on the right page under the picture, is the name of the game to be saved. Back space over it and type a new name and then save.

Now that you mention it, he wasn't in the nest like last time, only chick and eggs, and I haven't seen him at all. Maybe a hint there??

I think you meet the bird further down.

Remember what you used the squee for in the first part of the game? You have to use him for a similar purpose here. Rather than trap him, you want to give him a bit of a scare so that he will make a noise...

OK - I feed the bird... and got back to the top (he was in the nest.)

??????

Now what? I can see the flower with the book and I see the flower looking into the nest - seems like something I need to mess with, but??? What do I mess with?

You need to go down, down, down...

Or maybe up to the top. Been up there yet? Also need to get a second spiral elevator plant working so you can go down into the middle of the tree. Done that yet? That is the key to getting down where all the puzzles are, not counting the puzzle on the very top.

Yea - I've been down down down down... and solved all of those puzzles - that's where I set the bird free... So, I went back up to see the MOM? bird with baby bird... what am I missing...????
