when will UBI stop shipping free 48hr XBL trials with GHOST RECON ADVANCED WARFIGHTER?

I'd also like to know why it is a 48 hour and not a 30 day trial.

They changed it to 48 hours because of all the Halo 2 cheaters who used 2 month trials to constantly cheat, and still do. Personally I think the trial should only be like 2 hours. Then it wouldn't be worth cheating with.

Ah...the old "punish the whole for the actions of a few" trick, eh? At the very least, I think there should be a 7 day trial.

i dont think you should really worry about the free trial it is only about 5$ a month for me that is like loose change if you can afford a $60.00 game i think $5.00 a month is nothing

Ya and they also sell Xbox Live cards for those without credit cards(only 4 360 I think)I bought a 12-month Live card when I got my 360.

I could care less about the cost of XBL. It’s just good business to offer a one month free trial to entice new customers to try out your product. It gives you time to get a well rounded impression of the game.
