I believe the current work around to this one is to take the Franz Ferdinand song out (get it) of the main set list and swap it with another song.Originally posted by specimen79:

lives... yah... ok,we didn't want people to be stuck in riff repeater banging their head against a wall and then choosing to quit... frustrated. the restart after the load was a technical glitch that we will fix as soon as we can.Have you looked at the Configuration Recommendations available on Ubisoft Support? 1 - give me the option to skip the retuning screen
2 - give me more control of ordering the songs when I am modifying an event
3 - after playing a song I chose out of the songs menu, give me the option to choose a new song ie go back to song menu (only options now are "continue journey" and "play again")
how about "Strip Guitar" minigame? You see hotties on a stage, and if you get the notes right, they do dance/striptease moves...

I think downtuning should be patched. I played a song that required tuning down. I constantly missed the third fret on the red string. I really focused on getting it right, there were very few notes to hit. But I kept missing it. My timing wasn't off, I had no problem hitting the rest. The rest of the red notes I got easily, only the third red fret weirded out.
And I agree on streamlining the menus, navigating should be going much faster.
I need to be able to alter the colors, I am colors blind and the current shades are horrible for me. Even setting my TVs colors settings to extreme values I struggle to tell the difference between the orange and green strings. Please fix this for me, this is destroying what would be an amazing game/tool.
I'm going to chime in here. I've been in and out of guitar since 1998. I'm no master, I'm not the best soloist. I CAN play a MEAN rhythm guitar though, lol. OK, so here's what I think will help newcomers into the guitar world:
1: PLEASE...fix the tuner. It's not accurate. Base it on the frequency of the string and it should be good. Or better yet, update it to look like a REAL tuner. Not so "game" like. After all, Rocksmith is a learning tool, not a game, right?
2: If you're going to address the lag issue, take notes from the Rockband/Guitar Hero series. Audio and Video separately and make it to where we can hear the changes we make real-time.
3: Hurry up with the DLC!! I hope you guys are looking into the ability for users to upload music via permissions through Ubisoft, etc. like the "Rockband Network".
4: Pretty sure it wouldn't be hard to throw in a bass part where both instruments "6-string and 4 or 5 string-selectable bass guitars" can play simultaneously. My wife plays bass and she complains everytime this game is on that there is no function for bass. I agree.
These have all been covered before, but I'm putting my two cents in because multiple similar complaints on forums are how things get fixed in games right?
