As I discussed the Farcry map editor with my younger cousin, he kept asking if he could play, which gave us the idea for a Two Player Map Editor. I'm sure it would be no problem, seperate screens so that two people can make the map on their own, Player one has total control over some things, such as entering the game for testing (via back button!), where both players must be in the game at once, it would be an enormous problem to have one player editing the map, and another walking around in it! I know the farcry engine will not support editable maps while being played, it just makes sense, why bother making this possible if you never need to do it? Both players have a "my zone" which may be a space of air above the map and on the map that the other player cannot edit, you cannot imagine the possiblities if two people make a map together!

    Comments? Crits?

BTW I am a sort of old member of these forums, I just can't remember my old pass/name! My xbox was in for repairs for 3 weeks, I forgot all about farcry.

btw I know what is possible in a game and what is not, I am not some silly newbie who thinks graphics are just bad looking because the artists are lazy (:P)

I would like if people (friends only) could watch you make the maps, and talk to you as well. It would be a nice addition. And, of course, you could boot them if they're being annoying.

i think the best possible thing to do is having voice chat with it, think about it, your busy with your own map, but meanwhile you can invite people to chat with you meanwhile, EXAMPLE: your making a map, you feel bored and go to your friends list, from there you could select:
    INVITE FRIEND TO CHAT
and other wise you could recieve the message:
*gamertag* (Maxprey, WaLKa) HAS INVITED YOU TO A MAP EDITOR CHAT SESSION:
    ACCEPT
    DECLINE

I do like the idea of having someone able to watch & chat with you when making a map. some map making tricks are hard to describe and would be easyer to show.

i wish people can make a map and then send it to their friends to tune it up but only the original creator can send it to people to work on the map.

Sort of like Timesplitter FP, how you can send maps to each other. yeah, good idea.

It should say who originally made the map, then who was the last editor under it.
