    I just want to write down what I found what doesn't work or which things are missing, yet. Feel free to add things....

    1. Deck Gun
    - Sometimes F5 and F6 work for manning the deck gun or AA-gun, sometimes not, sometimes only one of them.
    - If I ask the officer to man the deck gun it always works. If I ask him to clear it he offers me to man it again. Do I choose it the deck gun is cleared. Do I ask the officer again he offers me to clear the (already cleard) deck gun and it is manned again.

    2. Planes
    Planes never attack me (nice feature!) They just fly over my boat and that's it.

    3. Announcements
    When I use the time compression and travel a few hours and decrease the time compression, announcments are made which are several hours old.

    4. Back on course
    You need to double click on your boat on the map to set a new course. How should a double click to bring it back on the previous set course work when a single click is for setting a new course? So, going back on course doesn't work.

    5. Travel mode
    While using time compression and the travel mode I run into something (never got aware of what this was) which killed the ship and crew. No warning was issued.

    6. Depth under keel
    Missing.

    7. Weather status
    Missing.

    8. Aiming point for deck gun
    Missing. You can't tell the guys where to aim at the ship they shoot at.

    9. Outside torpedo reserve
    Missing. Where are the two reserve torpedos carried outside. VII/B and VII/C had them.

    10. Hydrophone
    How do you use the hydrophone manually? I can't turn the wheel. Even with the advanced group hydrophone.

    11. Rear torpedo tube?
    Where is it? I can use it but not see it when I go into the rear.

    12. Repairs
    How can I direct what will be repaird by the crew? If the boat is damaged everything seems to be repaired automatically without any way to direct it.

    13. Change the crew members
    Not possible anymore. Should that stay that way?

    14. Choose your base
    Isn't it possible to choose the base anymore?

    15. Controls and instruments
    In some views, like when you use the periscope, the instruments look quite too modern. Why?
    Some instruments, like when you are in the control center room, seem to be missing (CO2, Compressed Air, Battery, Fuel).

    16. Outgoing radio messages
    Where can I see which messaged I have sent?

    Just a heads up, the Depth under Keel feature, is fixed. theres a simple mod for it already.. and its just a matter of assigning the function a key command in the cfg file.. i forget the exact line but there are a few posts on it already

    17. Weather, boat damage, fuel and battery reserves, CO2 level all get reset after loading a game.

    18. CO2 level continues to climb after surfacing the boat, with hatches open and everything... unless #17 is performed.

    19. Distance calculation made in the periscope and the measurement made on the map don't match, by a large margin. (calculations made in the periscope would say 2k, yet it shows around 4k on the map). which one is real?

    20. Realism settings discarded mysteriously after a campaign is started.

    That's the way it's designed. Read the tootip text.

    They are there.

    It's there for the VIIB and later subs. In the VIIA, the tube was mounted higher, hence why it's not rendered in the interior.

    21.) When I talk to my crew, often the subtitles look like they were spell checked by a 3rd grader.
    22.)Also when I talk to my crew, they look away and/or I get cut out of the dialogue and I don't get to complete the conversation.
    22.) The rest of my crew is always sleeping, even when there is an emergency (i.e. crash diving, taking damage, and flooding)
    23.)AI ships lack the intelligence to avoid obstacles, and ship collisions occur often.
    24.) Lack of a good manual.
    25.) I have to turn the radar on myself, AND SOMETIMES IT TURNS ITSELF OFF!
    26.)No old 40's German music on gramophone.
    27.)DRM
    28.)Crew won't follow orders that would be followed in real life. (i.e. heating up torpedoes)
    29.) Morale system is all screwed up.
    30.)No 1943-1945 gameplay.
    31.)No type II, IX, or XXI U-Boats.
    32.)Inadequate character development. (needs more dialogue that doesn't become repetitive- needs to have more different choices of things to say to aid in more interesting and more complete character development.
    33.)Incorrect U-boat dates.

    I read it and I understand it differnet from you. It helps because I do not get interrupted for every ship they see but it should get back to 1 if a thread appears.

    Where? In SH3 I had two torpedos for the rear tube and one outside. No I only have one for the rear tube. It seems that they are all inside the boat as they get reloaded even if I stay submerged.

    Hi!
    If you check out subsim.com and forums there, you will find many good small mods for SH5 that fixes some of what you have in the missing list.
    A very nice command key mod that includes weather reports, depth under keel, return to course, closest sound contact etc etc, i recomend it.
    To use the hydrophone manually you can also use the wheel-scroll on your mouse when marker is on turning wheel at hydrophone.
