I say yes because it was dissapointing to see the PT graphics in CT Versus.

there are technical reasons for this...the developers know what they are doing and it is not a simple thing to use just any engine.

exactly, you have to counter in that sure great graphics are nice but you're going to get more lag, etc. I prefer decent graphics and an even better game. Graphics mean absolutly nothing to me.
c'mon everybody cares about graphics! i personally say "yes" for the same engine if they can swing it.

My thoughts exactly.
The engine can support both SP and MP games, however there are character rigs and animations that will probably only be present in one or the other, so adjustments need to be made.
With a release time of 9 months since the last game, there's no reason why the SvM cannot be in a CT-caliber engine. Anything less would, IMO, mean that the community wasn't respected enough for the SvM to be developed to it's best potential.
My biggest concern is the poor track record of patching and bug squashing along with Ubi's direction they're taking SvM. Change it too much and it's no longer the game people fell in love with.
Seeing how the multiplayer on the CT engine was almost completely broken, I'd rather have Versus on the PT engine, but chances are that's not gonna happen.
If possible, yes.
I say no to reduce lag in the game, if they up it from the PT svm engine, but still keep lag to a minimun, then hell ya, but if thats not possible, then...well no.
