There are 9 key guys who you want to kill that is the cause of the Crusades ,and you start off in some place in Syria called Mascaf (sp) the start of the game that is the assassin's base. There is also a conspiracy that will lead to modern times.

I saw them last night, really cool artworks btw.

And I watched the video as well. They make it sound like the AC world is going to be huge. For some reason, it reminds me of Gothic. I can't wait to play the game.

the leader of the Hashassins( icant spell it) was Hasan-e Sabbah. I learned that in my english 4A class about a week ago.

why is it that the hand missing the ring finger and having a blade in it changes? i've sen the majorty of pictures it is his left hand and in the video i believe it is the left hand as well. But some of those images it is his right hand and if i remember correctly the GI cover it was his right hand also. so which hand is it?

Hasan was the leader of Alamut. Masyaf (and the Syrian Assassins) belonged to a different man.
