Thread: Game is shutting down my comp during load | Forums

    I start the demo and once it begins to load my computer restarts. I am not having any problems running any other games.
    Im running on a amd xp2600+ barton core with a radeon 9600 xt. i have omega catalyst 4.2 drivers and 512 pc 2100 ram. can somone please help?

    It's not your computer! Far Cry is having a directx9 interfacing problem. At the moment and as far as the demos go, Far Cry is far from playable on most systems!

    thanks for the help but i figured it out. i installed catalyst 4.3 drivers and now it runs great. awesome game.
