Thread: Changing a password please Razz meister general :) | Forums

  1. #1
Hey Razz or anyone who has the power...

I really need to change my password for my old login "danprocter".

I have tried doing this at the english website and also the german website but i get this nasty message at each:

    <BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR> @ mailadd varchar (255), @ intprofileid int, @ returnvalue int output, @ rand varchar (15) output, @ profileid int output, @ mail_id int output
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e14'

[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Procedure 'change_mail' expects parameter '@mailadd', which was not supplied.

    E:\WWW\WWW1\BLUEBYTE.NET\PROFILE\ENG\MAIN_PROFILE\ ../../../shared/bb_profiles/inc/profile/db_change_mainprofile.inc, line 38
    <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

    pretty eh?

Can this be sorted or has the login system followed in the footsteps of the old forum...?

    whats wrong with you dan??
dont you know that the comunity manager time has exparied??
dont you know that thay last only 3 days average??

besides, what you want to do cant be done.
your email address is linked to your nick and to the serial number you registerd with...you were born with that, you will have to die with that...

I'm afraid its that harsh attitude that scares off the community manager

how do you know what I want to do?

As far as you know, all I want to do is change my password... which is entirely possible, as all it requires is the changing of a word in some database on some bluebyte server. Anyone who can access that database can change the password.....

FYI I intend on selling my luscious Settlers 4 Game and with it the true wonders of its multiplayer by informing the buyer of its registered username and password....

now what kind of numpty would pass on their own password in that situation?

Hence why i wish to change...

Never think that things are as simple as you may imagine...

    de ja vous?
