Retreiving my CD-KEY | Forums

I have owned this game for a while and even played it online before. The game came with my graphics card and in a paper wallet with the cd-key on the back. Unfortunatley I have lost this wallet and I cant find the key anywhere in/on my graphics card box. Is there a way I can find the cd-key on my computer or on the dvd itself?

Sorry, the key is encrypted in your registry and cannot be recovered. If it is already in the computer then you should be able to play online unless you uninstalled the game.

I upgraded my computer, hence a reformat. Surly because I played it online beofre it would remember and not ask me again.

Unfortunately FC encrypts it and puts it in the OS registry (or something like that ). Since you reformatted and lost your CD sleeve you don't have many options.

Either buy another copy (I would NOT suggest getting a used copy!) FC is pretty cheap these days. Or try and see if vidcard company will replace it.
