You say they're not corrupt but in a recent clan match I heard about from the guys involved, a ref got caught telling members of one team that had lagged out and gone back in where the other team was. Probably not a big deal, but it only takes one of those lagged out guys to be in the same room as someone playing - or heaven forbid to have a mobile and the game is up. When the other team complained (they also had someone lag out and go back in) they got kicked off the ladder - sound 'not corrupt' to you?

BTW I'm purposely holding back names as I wasn't there so maybe I haven't got the whole story. If anyone wants to come on to refute this with another side to the story then I'm open to discussion.
