Hello,
nice to see that SH III is realy coming now. We are a community of still active SH II gamers born in the SH II Wolpack League, but now a little bit more free in our interest in playing computer games.
But were still active u-boaters with a strong modding group. I think it will be interesting for you to take a look at our site (ufortunately all in german, but if you're interested a lot of our guys are able to write (hopefully) understandable english)

Dying to know... what does a campaign with dynamic and scripted elements mean? Is that a dynamic campaign that stumbles across scripted missions every now and then? The new page looks great y'all! ~Ryan

as far as i am concerned it is far and away the most important thing in a subsim so far I don't like the sound of the description you guys have given of this scripted/dynamix campaign.
Please explain ?

it would be nice if the developers would include Typ XXIII, too, the late war counter part to Typ II. I don't have numbers at hand now, but I guess the smaller Typ XXIII was as common as Typ XXI.

There were about twice as many XXI commissioned as type XXIII.
Only 6 type XXIII boats went on an operational patrol. So IMHO it seems a waste of dev time to simulate this type of submarine.
