Okay, I agree with many that the manual lacks one important component: Explanations of commands. So please tell me how:
a. To remove a waypoint.
b. Turn on/off radar or sonar (I understand depth requirements).
Thanks and hope you had a memorable Memorial day.

a.) To remove a waypoint, go to the nav map, click on the eraser tool, move it to the waypoint you wish to remove (it will turn red when on it), left click to erase and right click to drop eraser.
b.) Sonar cannot be turned off. It is passive. Your active sonar is only used when you ping a target to obtain range or ping the bottom to obtain depth under keel. I believe "r" turns on/off radar.

Greetings,
I was JUST going to reply to myself about figuring out the waypoints. Thank you for your reply! As for the radar, I can go the PPI and the A-scope screens. I can hold the mouse over the on/off simulated "switches" and they light up on their tips. However, I cannot move them from Off to On.
Of course, I am not playing expert mode. Is this a factor? Does radar not really work unless I play at a higher sim level? Otherwise, how do I move the on/off switches? Pressing "R" did nothing.
By the way, the game command button for "Continuous Search Sweep" is dimmed; that is, not enabled. I can't figure out what I'm missing here. Thanks for any feedback.

Don't forget, early in the war, your boat is not equipped with radar. On the map, when surfaced, you can click on the radar station icon, then there is a radar on/off button.

Gah! History, gadzooks. You're right, of course. I should have realized that. Guess I was more concerned with playability than what time I was in (patrol #1). Thanks again, matey!

You're most welcome.
May the force be with you.
