I`m playing the game for the first time and every couple of minutes it freezes for say ten seconds then returns.what can be wrong?
my system is,
1. processor asus 2.6
2. XP service pack 2
3. 512 ram
4. graphics geforce 3 ti500
5 directX 9

I've had the same problem and I couldn't find any one item that was causing it. I can only assume that there was something loaded and running (a hidden process) that was causing the system to write to the pagefile. I finally just re-installed a clean system and it started working!

You might try disabling anything that is running in the system tray (you may have already done this), especially any Antivirus or registry protection programs like Spybot's teatimer or Ad-Watch, etc.
