i have been running a dedicated server now for about 1 hour and no1 has joined yet. Can someone please tell me how they get there servers noticed.

It's touch and go.I had some trafic on my server last night.I found that Team Chaos is probably the most popular game type.I have a good cable connection,so I just leave mine on for people to use usually.I leave voting on and walk away.To be honest,not many people enter my server when I want to distribute a map though.

My friend SICdiffuseSIC has GREAT maps. the best I've seen so far. They are better than the developer maps. Especially his Metropolis map. He also has one called Close Quarters. They are both really cool. Add him sometime and check out his maps. My gamertag is Seram. (pronounced Serum).

Me and Yubi have already tested out maps together. But I still don't know why people don't join dedicated servers. The only reason people don't join is because no one is in them, but if no one joins because no one is in them, how will people join?!
