I just downloaded the demo (took me 30 hours but I did it) and now it wont work right. I have an alienware, pentium 4 3GHZ, with a radeon 9800 256mb, and a sound blaster audigy 2. I also have direct x 9.0b. The problem is that when I start the demo it seems as though there is a nasty glare effect everywere. When I look certain directions the game is fine, but if I turn right I get a bright sort of fade problem, it as though there is alot of light from that direction. I know this is not supposed to happen because I cannot see anything, and objects in the game have a sort of glow around them that looks really ugly. I played around with the setting and now when I launch the demo and it is almost done loading my computer reboots. What is going on? any idea how to fix it?
