Thread: Add more enemies to Terrorist Hunt? | Forums

    Is it possible to add more enemies to the online Terrorist Hunt? I would like to play against 100 enemies ... or more. Is this configured through one of the .ini files? Would all the other players joining my server have to have the same .ini file too?

    This is the kind of thing you need a MAP EDITOR for. And since this is a Ubi$ucks CONSOLE game, then you have to forget about it.

    That new train yard map forgot the name, that needs more guys for terrorist hunt. It's got more to explore than Wartown does but has less player count. That would be the first map I'd change. Sadly I can kill off about 75% of the guys, just like wartown before I go deeply into the map and explore it.

    i still think the trouble is with terrorist hunt in this game its exactly the same every time... you goto a certain point... triggers a bunch of soldiers... kill them all... goto another point trigger more spawned soldiers... so no matter how many soldiers you want these spawns need to be done in a map editor.

    BTW ive actually seen a soldier spawn right in front of me... so yes it spawns thats why sometimes its hard to find the last guy

    When you discover the mechanics of a game just by playing it, without even running a SDK or a map editor, it's a clear sign that the design of the game is grossly poor.

    That sort of thing was acceptable in the 90s, but not in 2006-2007. And they call it a game for ''next gen'' consoles... LOL!

    What is so funny about this so-called ''AAA'' game is that it is just an amateur mod made with UE3. I'm sure that any subset of 150 members of the part of this community who is skilled in programming and map editing would have done better if they had been given a SDK and the Unreal Engine 3 Editor.

    Well I already got some of the armor pieces to change out to a ghost in the shell like suit (grey suit) and into the game but it's still having problems. Once and if it gets stable, i'll try for the replicas of the actual guns from the series. IT wasn't easy and thanks to help from someone at planetunreal and wotgreal I was able to do some minor stuff like this. I'm sure I can get the enemies changed. I was unsure before but there might be a way. If it all works I'll post it up, and the method I'm using for changing armor. I don't know though, pb will definitely ban you not that I care about that.

    sorry I can't and won't and don't care to put my job at risk since I'm messing with things I was told not to. I'm merely stating it is possible but it's unstable. It would be nice to get a really good coder to work with me on this but they have to know unreal 3 engine to some degree. The help I've had on getting wotgreal and the image exporter to work properly has been about as far as I can go with it. The problem with the armor is also you lose other pieces. I just swapped around files for the clothing actually. There's no mesh work, just changing the uvmaps. I can't make actual new mesh pieces without complete access to the model to rig and weigh it properly. Changing the clothing textures around though is really easy, as well as the faces, cause right now they got some ugly ones in there. I want to change the hair, get motoko's hair and the other characters but I need access to the models themselves to import into max or maya.

    If it gets released it'll be the METHOD not my personal work.
