Outrageous! (a bug before facing the Empress) | Forums

I have the PS2 version which is full of bugs by the way which were merely annoying until now (sound and camera problems etc.) but I could live with that. But this is now a major issue. After activating the second tower and returning to the central hall, I saw the cutscene about Dahaka beast meeting me there. I jumped across the gap, saved game at the fountain and went into the hourglass chamber to face the Empress. She killed me and I had to reload game, however when I start from the save point and reach the hourglass room, both bolts are still there! As if I never went to the towers.

I tried reloading game from the previous save point (before I reach the central hall) but practically the same thing happens. This time, when I come to the central hall, there is no cutscene with the Dahaka, neither with the Empress in the hourglass chamber. This time there is only one bolt on the door (the lower one). I only have two save files, so if I dont come up with the solution I will have to start all over. The thought of doing it all over is killing me! And who's to say it wont happen again.

So I would really appreciate any help from you...
