It looks to me as though many of the initial complaints regarding SH4 have to do with features that apparently don't work, or features that people can't figure out.

I suspect that much of this has to do with "thin" documentation. One of the great truths of "Software Distribution" is that the task of writing the documentation ALWAYS falls to the member of the team with the least seniority and experience. (I speak from experience; ....having once been that guy!)

What we need to do is the following:

    1) Accept the possibility that "non-functional" features may in fact be "incorrectly or insufficiently documented" features.
    2) Compile a list of such features here; ...and post the correct instructions.
    3) Have faith that such a "User Compiled" manual will ALWAYS be better than the first offering from the publisher!

Please don't damn a game, when the only real culprit may be incomplete, first version, documentation!

Approach this with the attitude that you're going to do your part to make it better! ....After all, it's in our own best interest! Really detailed Sub Sims are few and far between; ....let's pitch in and help to make this one work! (Who else are you going to turn to; ...Bill Gates???)

Agree with RT and RJ, well put, klcarroll. I've played these kinda sims long enough to know when they first come out they are gonna be rough around the edges, but in the long run it will provide alot of enjoyment for a good long time. SH1 is a proven example of this. I just wish my copy would get here so I can start enjoying.

Notice how none of the whining people even bother with this thread. This is the way things should work in the world! What is the justice of bashing Ubi, for the love of god they're the ones working there @sses off to make this available for our enjoyment! If I know anything about game designers, the last thing they do it for is the money! Leave them alone! The community can come together to resolve any issues you want! Post your concerns as klcarroll asked and we can work together with modders and the devs to solve these issues!
