    Hi,

I can't wait to play From Dust. My intention was to purchase its PC version, but I just heard about the delay.

So, do you think that the Xbox 360 version will be ok? What will you do?

    Thanks!

I bought it for the 360 and I have to say it works pretty flawlessly for me but I've already heard people complain about the controls so if that bothers you you might want to wait for the PC version. Also the PC version is likely to have better graphics.

I have read the control system on the consoles does let it down. Which to me brings a smile to my face, as normally it is the port from console to PC that screws up the control system.

So to all you console players, welcome to the PC gamers world.

I bought the 360 version, glad I did. The camera controls aren't perfect, but they're easy enough to figure out, and who doesn't love the comfort of a controller?

    Hi,

Thank you all for all your opinions.

I would purchase the PC version, due to the better graphics. But, the presence of "that" Ubisoft's DRM is sad.

    Hi there,

The PC version of the game is a one time only activation - after that, you are free to play offline.

    Hi,

But the game's page on Steam says "3rd-party DRM: Ubisoft Online Service ".

And several gaming sites and blogs says that this is that DRM who obligates the gamer to remain online even when playing offline games and/or offline matches.

Ubisfot are not very good at the communication thing, this leads to many people miss interpreting them. It's one of many things the company really needs to work on.

It was communicated fine. In fact most sites gave you the right info, it was just some news sites that speculated just because they saw the description on the Steam Store. Remember that as long as it doesn't come from Ubisoft it's not official.
