Only by the video description i learned that these are actually slovenian-german-americans

Well actually even austrio-german-slovenian-americans

As always, the Habsburgs are to blame for this confusion

They also have a Miss Gottschee

Ah, I see you allready helped yourself with an explanation.

I'm not at all surprised that they don't wave Slovenian flags...

Well the Habsburgs were very advanced for that time.
You know...the whole "unite, unite Europe" idea.

Well, i can definitely understand that there are no austrian flags to be seen.

They did not qualify for the world cup ... ....the shame ..... THE SHAME

This is something for Mittelwaechter.

The ladies speak "Gottscheerisch" which is a german dialect spoken in medieval times.

I can understand them pretty well with some exceptions here and there at which i dont get at all what they're saying.

Its quite close to bavarian so Mittelwaechter will understand them much better than i do.

Basically they are ranting about how lack of jobs and insufficient infrastructure made life difficult for them and they imagine what things may have been like if they had taken different decisions.

The lady on the right says that building a house in Slovenia was easier and cheaper for her rather than doing the same in Germany or Austria.

I have no doubt about that.
