Download link at the bottom of the page if you don't want to do all of this

Greets all, I just wanted to post how to spawn an Undead Cyclope.

First off, you're going to need

-GCFScape (search for it on google, and download it)

So, once you've downloaded that and installed it, it's time to turn the regular cyclope into the undead one. Do not that by doing this procedure, all regular cyclopes in the game will look undead. I recommend this only if you spawn the cyclope for NPC Battles, and want the undead one instead (like I did) The process can be reversed, so this isn't permanent if you don't want to be.

Now, close steam. Go into your steam folder

    Steam\SteamApps\ and open up mm_models_pub

Open another window, and have this window in Steam\SteamApps\(your username here)\Dark Messiah might and magic Single Player

Now, look in the models_pub.gcf, you will notice it says

    -root
    +mm

Click on the +, and +models will show up. Click on that +, and you should see

    +effects
    +fx
    +gibbs
    +items
    +npc

Stop there. Click on the +npc, and more stuff will drop down. You should see more + ****, go under +cyclope_undead

Stop here for now. Take note of the directory you've been following in the .gcf and go in your other window (you should be in your dark messiah single player folder)

In this folder, find the mm folder. Double click on it, and see if a models folder exists. If it doesn't, create a new folder. Name it models. Open that up, and inside that, make a new folder called npc

In the npc folder, make another new folder called cyclope

and open that up. Stop there. Go back in the .gcf (should still be open) and in the +cyclope_undead, you will see a lot of stuff. Copy all of the files from that folder and put them in your cyclope folder, and remove the _undead part on all of the models.

You should now be all set for the models, now on to the textures. Close out of the mm_models_pub.gcf and open mm_materials_b_pub.gcf

You should see the same stuff for the first 2 categories.

    -root
    +mm
    +materials
    +models

Click on all of the +es, and scroll down until you find npc_cyclope_undead. Stop there, and go back in your dark messiah single player folder. Go into mm\ and create a new folder called materials. Open that, and create a new folder called models. Open THAT up, and make a new folder called npc_cyclope.

Go back to your .gcf, (should be in mm_materials_b_pub.gcf

    -root
    -mm
    -materials
    -models
    -npc_cyclope_undead

and copy all of the files from the npc_cyclope_undead and place them in the npc_cyclope folder that you created. Remove all _undead parts from the file types. Now, close everything. Go in the game, load up a level, and then in the console type

    mm_npc_create_cyclope

And then, when spawned, you should have this

Enjoy! If this is unclear (which I can understand) I can take screenshots on what to do. Thanks for reading and have fun

Oh, and one last thing, if you want the regular cyclope back, simply delete these folders that you have created and he'll be restored. Enjoy!

EDIT: If anyone wants me to release this as a mod instead of doing all the work yourself, let me know.

    EDIT 2: Download link added.

Thx for the post. For some reason, when I install GCFScape, it says my configerations are incorrect and cannot run. It suggested that I reinstall it and I did, but with no results. I am glad he gave us the files to download and the idea of making a mod sounds cool, but if you know what the problem is with GCFScape is, plz tell me . Anyway, good work.

    Thanks and you're welcome.

I would be doing more advanced stuff, but no SDK yet

As for your problem, I'm not sure. I'm sure if you googled it or something you could find a solution
