hi all. not sure if im blind or something, but i cant change race in custom game, i can play only haven. i can change colour, hero (cant really but ive noticed that option).

game is original, fully updated and patched. pls help

Before starting a custom skirmish, go to your Dynasty, on the Main Menu, and create custom heroes : as many as you like. They will then all be available in your custom games -- for human players only. When creating those heroes, you do not have to spend all the available skill points, because you always start with only 1 point in a skirmish. But if you intend to play duels, you need to spend all the available skill points when creating or editing a custom hero : if you don't, the A.I. enemies, in a duel, will have a too strong initial advantage in skills & spells.

Is there any way you can change starting creatures on you heroes, I might be blind cause I can't find it?
I tried many combinations to get ghost and skeletons as starting creature on my necromancer, it seems like the deciding factor was picking female instead of male...

I created about 6-7 male heroes when I tried to get the right combination, then I noticed that the female hero that I start with got them so I created a female hero and this actually worked

Tavern heroes have different units depending on their hero skill (orc master has more orcs, etc.), maybe the same goes with custom heroes.

I went for regen every time.

i can't create a costum hero. i already deleted my first and only costum hero hero but the button is still "greyed out" :P

They have introduced a bug in the latest version that prevents you to create new heroes under certain circumstances.
