I've recently started playing Everquest again. I can almost imagine the sighs and moans as you shake your heads disapprovingly, much as many of my friends did. They just ask me why I don't go out and buy WoW like a normal human being (if you can call any of us MMO players human beings.)
Much like Woody over at GU comics, I have enjoyed the nostalgia of revisiting a familiar territory. Along with the familiar there have been a few additions that have made the game a lot more fun for me to play.
With all of that said, I want to send out an invitation for anyone here that wants to join me in playing the game. I know that there will not be many who are not interested. I was universally turned down by my friends who would rather play WoW, but I hold out hope that there may be one or two here that may want to play. I'm not looking to get all hardcore about the game, I would just like a small group of friends to pal around with.
If you are interested, I think that you can purchase the game and all 16 expansions from Sony Station for 40 bucks. I am playing on Prexus server.
